Pat Tiberi (pronounced TEE-berry) is a member of the House Ways and Means Committee that has jurisdiction over tax issues, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Pat TiberiSecurity, and trade agreements. He currently is the Chairman of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Select Revenue Measures (taxes).

As a former Chairman of the Select Education Subcommittee, Congressman Tiberi wrote and passed the Older Americans Act, a law that reauthorized and improved numerous programs that help Older Americans. The AARP, Meals on Wheels, and the Alzheimer’s Association of Central Ohio have recognized Congressman Tiberi for the lead he took in the bipartisan effort to pass this law. Son of Italian immigrants, Congressman Tiberi has been a lifelong resident of the 12thCongressional District. He is a 1985 graduate of The Ohio State University and was a member of The Ohio State University Marching Band. Congressman Tiberi began his career in public service as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. Prior to being elected to Congress, he worked as a realtor. Congressman Tiberi and his wife, Denice, are the proud parents of their daughters, Angelina, Cristina, Daniela, and Gabriela.
