Dr. Alvin Rabushka was a member of Ronald Reagan’s Tax Policy Task Force in 1980, and in 1982 was an advisory board member of the U.S. Information Agency’s Public Policy Foundation. He also directed the conference on "Constraining Federal Taxing and Spending" held at the Hoover Institute in 1981.
Since 1979, Rabushka has testified before several Congressional committees, including the Constitutional Subcommittee of the Senate Judiciary Committee in 1981, the Joint Economic Committee of Congress in July 1982 and the Senate Finance Committee of Congress in September 1982.
From 1974 to 1982, Rabushka was a consultant to several federal government agencies, including the U.S. Senate in 1977-78, the White House Conference on Aging in 1981 and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in 1982.
Rabushka is the author of numerous books and articles, including Low Tax, Simple Tax, Flat Tax, published by McGraw Hill in 1983.
