Jeffrey D. Schultz is President of Jeffrey D. Schultz and Company that produces political, religious and literary reference works. Among the companys most recent works are C. S. Lewis: A Readers Encyclopedia for Zondervan Publishing House (winner of the 1998 Gold Medallion Award from the Christian Booksellers Association) and The American Political Landscape Encyclopedia Series with the Oryx Press. Schultz is also author of the forthcoming comprehensive work, Presidential Scandals, for Congressional Quarterly.
In addition to his current writing and editorial responsibilities, Jeff is executive producer of C. S. Lewis: An Examined Life, a PBS documentary film on the life and work of this 20th Century British author. He is also currently developing several other programs for PBS.
In his spare-time, Jeff mans an outpost at Macmillan USA in Indianapolis where as an editor he is busy predicting emerging trends in Internet technology and its impact on society. Jeff obtained an A.B. in Interdisciplinary Studies at Georgetown University and a M.A. from Claremont Graduate School before returning to Georgetown to pursue further graduate studies. He has taught history, government and the humanities at a number of colleges and universities including White Pines College, The Colorado College and Ashland University.
